The 124th Saint Paul Winter Carnival will be held January 28 - February 7, 2010

Now that the 2009 Saint Paul Winter Carnival is over
we will have time to start editing the 1000's of pictures.

The Candidates for the
2009 Queen of the Snow and the four wind princesses

Spent the day visiting schools and Senior Homes on Jan. 14, 2009.

Performing a winter carnival skit, they also
sung songs. During the 10 days of carnival the Royal Family
makes over 100 visits to entertain people of all ages.
The Royal Family is not done after the 10 days of the winter carnival,
they will make another 200 appearances throughout the year.
All as volunteers.

Beth Pinkeny as the New
New President/CEO of the SPFHF
Press Release Oct. 1, 2009
The Saint Paul Festival and Heritage Foundation is the proud producer of the Saint Paul Winter Carnival. Pinkeny will be responsible for the general management of the Foundation including annual budget development, creating new and retaining existing fund and sponsorship development, year-round fundraising initiatives, as well as managing and supervising the Foundation staff and its volunteer structure.

Pinkney most recently served a three-year term as Championship Director for the USGA’s 2008 Women’s US Open. Prior to that, she was an account executive in the Professional Sporting Division at Prom Management Group and also worked on the U.S. Senior Open Championships in 1997 and 1999.

A native of Hoyt Lakes in the Iron Range, Pinkney --- a graduate of the University of Minnesota --- has lived in the Twin Cities area for 20 years. She now resides in the St. Paul suburb of Woodbury.

“I am excited to be part of the Saint Paul Winter Carnival,” said Pinkney. “In years past, I have become a fan of the parades, snow sculptures and ice carving contests. I am a strong believer in the Winter Carnival’s rich tradition and history of family fun.”

 in 1971. Titan XII. He later went on to to become
 King Boreas Rex LVII in 1993.
 

Great Traditions for a great city.
For over 120 years leaders in the community of Saint Paul
have come together to show America that Saint Paul, Minnesota is
a great place to live, work and run companies. Even in the Winter.


 I have been told that these are of the 1941 Royal Family.
