We would like to welcome Pinkney most recently served a three-year term
as Championship Director for the USGA’s 2008 Women’s US Open. Prior to
that, she was an account executive in the Professional Sporting Division
at Prom Management Group and also worked on the U.S. Senior Open
Championships in 1997 and 1999. A native of Hoyt Lakes in the Iron Range,
Pinkney --- a graduate of the University of Minnesota --- has lived in
the Twin Cities area for 20 years. She now resides in the St. Paul
suburb of Woodbury. “I am excited to be part of the Saint Paul
Winter Carnival,” said Pinkney. “In years past, I have become a fan of
the parades, snow sculptures and ice carving contests. I am a strong
believer in the Winter Carnival’s rich tradition and history of family
fun.”
